The Thelma Ellis Sixteen Foundation, Inc., was formed by the family of the late Thelma Zenida Ellis aka Sixteen, in an effort to continue her years of service and dedication to helping needy students. Our organization goals are to provide a Scholarship Program for students seeking a secondary level of education, and to provide Educational Supplies to the schools. These education supplies includes computers, projectors, books, three ring binders, pens, pencils and other educational supplies.
Currently, we have been focusing on the area in which Thelma Ellis lived and served for most of her adult life; Duckenfield, St. Thomas Jamaica.
With the recent February 2023 passing of one of Thelma Ellis' daughter, Sandra Thompson, the directors of the foundation have started the process of updating the functionalities of the foundation.
The Thelma Ellis Sixteen Foundation, Inc. has applied for but is NOT a 501(c)(3) organization.
